It’s been awhile since I saw Jim Henson’s “The Storyteller”. John Hurt, as usual, was excellent as the Storyteller. I recall hearing a great many wonderful stories, but none so poignant to me as “The Soldier and Death.” Truly a Russian tale if there ever was one. But of course, everything can be found on YouTube these days, so… I give you Part One.
