It’s early in the morning and the house is quiet. We’re going to be taking it easy today, watching the Macy’s Parade, the Westminster Dog Show, and generally hanging around home. I may work on a project I didn’t get to last weekend.
I’ve much to be thankful for today. It’s been a pretty good year. Last year at this time we were still trying to get our feet under us after extended unemployment followed by a move to another state. This year I feel we’ve made good progress toward digging our way out.
The important thing is we’re all healthy, have a roof over our heads, food in the pantry, and no immediate threats. Everything else is negotiable.
I may be back to post more today, but then again, maybe not.
